Charge: Possession of a Controlled Substance
Result: Madson Castello was able to get the client into a diversion program. Successful completion of the program allows the client to have this case removed from all data bases, both public and law enforcement.


Charge: Possession of Marijuana (on school property)
Result: Madson Castello obtained a memo agreement and filed paperwork for high school-aged client to have all record of the arrest removed prior to college.


Charge: Burglary of a Habitation
Result: While on probation for Burglary of a Habitation, the client was charged with another offense with a punishment range of 15 years-life. Madson Castello pled the case to a lesser-included charge for seven years.


Charge: Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon
Result: Madson Castello lowered the client’s bond, then presented a letter with his defense to the Grand Jury. These efforts resulted in a “no bill,” which means the Grand Jury did not proceed with the case.


Charge: Five Counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon
Result: Madson Castello enhanced the surveillance video to show the 19-year-old client was not carrying a gun in the incident. The DA dismissed the case.


Charge: Delivery of a Controlled Substance
Result: Madson Castello showed that a link to their client in the criminal transaction was slim to none. Punishment range of 25 years-to-life was reduced to 180 days in jail.


Charge: Felony Possession of Marijuana
Result: Madson Castello negotiated up-front drug testing and community service for a Class C ticket.


Charge: Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon
Result: Madson Castello used Facebook Live video of the alleged victim to show the Grand Jury that the client acted in self- defense. The Grand Jury decided not to proceed with the case.


Charge: Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon (with eyewitness identification)
Result: Madson Castelllo used phone records and another robbery with the same MO to show that client was not guilty. The DA dismissed the case.


Charge: Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle
Result: Madson Castello used side-by-side imagery from the body camera and still photos to show the client was misidentified. Case was dismissed.
